Queen's Remembers Brina

Some Queen’s girls will always be remembered for the positive mark they make not only on the School but on the lives of others, and Brina was most definitely one of these. She was dearly loved by a wide range of members of the Queen’s community: we valued her wisdom, kindness, warm heart and thoughtfulness.
Brina was working closely with the Alumni Office on revitalising our archive and we are already missing her calm, practical input. It would be truly wonderful now for us to reshape it as The Brina Marks Archive. If any of you has any experience of or interest in archives or school history we would be so grateful to receive offers of the practical help that is needed as well as financial support.
Brina was also passionate about education, and ever thankful to have been the recipient of a Queen’s Bursary. We intend to maintain her memory in an award or prize: the details of course depend on a number of factors but we will keep you informed of progress.
Therefore to commemorate Brina and her life The Marks Family and the Alumni Office together invite donations to The Queen’s School Archive and/or the Bursary or Prize Fund. We would also be very pleased to receive email confirmation of gifts, and memories of Brina that we can share alumni@thequeensschool.co.uk
