Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh Brothers & Sisters. 

This Ramadan i have partnered with the charity, Muslim Hands, to raise money to build a well in a poor country that needs it the most ie, Syria, Yemen, Palestine, Pakistan. I need your support to raise £660 to build a well. 

The Messenger of Allah (saw) was asked, “Which charity is best?” He replied, “providing water”’. (Abu Dawud])

Water is the centre of everything. To clean (make Wudu), to cook, keep stock alive, to survive!  Allah says in the Qur’an ‘By means of water, we give life to everything’ (Qur’an 21:30). It is a basic human right which people all over the world are limited to, with just £660, we can build a well which around 35 families will have access too, catering to around 200 people. Water is something we take for granted everyday because it is at the palm of our hands. Women & children travel for miles & miles in search of cleaning water, leaving no time to spend with their families. Children travel a long distance in search of clean water for their families which means there is restricted time limit on education. Majority of the water they are collating is contaminated & can lead to deadily illnesses such as Cholera & Polio. 

We need clean water to survive, a well will save so many peoples lives. Allah swt says in the Qur’an ‘And whoever saves one, it is as if he had saved all of mankind’ (Qur’an 5:32)’

The wells draw water from up to 40 metres beneath the ground making them dependable during all seasons. Let’s make a change to save the Ummah by providing them with the basic human necessities.
