Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. Our chosen charity this year is 'Quest', a local riding school for the disabled and we are partaking in two events this year.
On the 21st JUNE - Steve Driver completed the London to Brighton Bike Ride - '54 miles' -and if you have seen Steve on a bike this was no mean feat!!! A massive well done to Steve and a big thank you to all who have donated so far.
On the 15th August a motley crew of COA staff, Friends, RDA volunteers and those who were bullied into it!!! took part in a circular 30 mile cycle ride.
AN ABSOLUTELY HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL WHO DONATED SO GENEROUSLY OF YOUR TIME AND MONEY, we are all extremely grateful.
About Quest RDA:
Quest provides riding for around 70 disabled children and adults at a local centre in Surrey. Every weekday and at the weekends teams of volunteers help provide rides for small groups of children principally from nearby special needs schools and groups. Not only does this riding help the children physically in terms of using different muscles, but by providing them the freedom of self mobility their confidence and self assurance is helped too. The group relies solely on the generosity of donations and helpers in order to provide this invaluable service to its members. They are desperately in need of equipment to continue this good work and our ultimate goal is to be able to provide them with a new horse, which will provide all members of the group a guaranteed furture for years to come.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor: Quest Group of the Riding for the Disabled Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you very much for your time and contribution!
