The Great River Race · 25 September 2010

As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, we brighten the short lives of babies, children and young people who come to Rainbows. We want them to have fun and make special memories. We are also here to support their loved ones through the most difficult times of their lives.

Story

The Barclaycard Quids-In Team need your help!!

The Great Thames River Race is 22 miles long from London Docklands to Richmond and is now a firmly established classic in the sporting calendar with 300 plus boats and over 2000 senseless competitors racing for 35 trophies or just the sheer hell of finishing. Most boats take about 4 hours to complete the course - we are just hoping to finish before bedtime (if at all!!).

We are doing this to raise money for Rainbows Hospice which is based in the East Midlands. Rainbows is  dedicated to meeting the needs of children and young people who come to the Hospice  affected by life-limiting and life-threatening conditions
