Event: Quit for a bit 2021, from 1 November 2021 to 30 November 2021
Love a sweet treat? Easily persuaded to have a post-work drink? Give up sugar or alcohol (or both!) this November and raise money to support people living with dementia.

Story

I'm taking part in Quit for a bit for the Alzheimer's Society which means that for the month of November I'm saying bye to sugar 🍬🍫🍭🍪🍩🍦 and alcohol 🍷🥂🍻🍾 (and basically all joy).  If you're able to, I would really appreciate if you can support me in any way to reach my target for a charity that means a lot to me (don't forget to select gift aid).  Thank you for taking the time to read, Méabh x

People with dementia were some of the worst affected by the last national lockdown, and we need to be there for them so this doesn't happen again. Alzheimer's Society will continue to provide vital services through this lockdown and beyond. Quit for a bit fundraising will help Alzheimer’s Society be there for anyone affected by dementia.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
