Myself and my brother Jordan have decided to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society by taking part in “Quit For A Bit” and give up alcohol for the whole month of November. 

Our beautiful, funny, amazing mother Donna was diagnosed with a form of dementia back in September 2017 and life has been very different for all of us since... mam living away in a residential home with other residents who suffer from the same heartbreaking disease being one. 

Every other year, mam has been able to take part in fundraising alongside us to help raise money and we’ve had lots of fun & banter together during the events, but due to social distancing rules and herself and her fellow residents having to shield, sadly thats not been able to happen this year. Soooo. as well as going alcohol free (which is going to bloody hard because I don’t need any excuse for a cheeky glass of vino on the best of days lol), to make up for not being able to do the dementia walk we are going to complete a 5k walk/run everyday in November too (total of 155k in a month 👀🙈) . 

This is going to be challenging to say the least, but our mam means the world to us and every penny we raise will help millions all over the UK try to beat dementia. We would appreciate any support we can get to keep us going for the next 30 days, all for a great cause which is very close to our hearts.
