R BASKEYFIELD is raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association
Story
As some of you may be aware, my Mum was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in January 2022.
I will be completing a '7 in 7 challenge' where I will climb 7 mountains/peaks in 7 consecutive days. All inspired by Kevin Sinfield and his fundraising for Rob Burrow and his playing number 7.
There currently is no cure for this life-limiting disease. This is why I am undertaking this challenge. I am sure it will be demanding but this still does not even touch the challenges faced by my Mum and other MND sufferers across the country.
