Imperial Corporate Event's BIG SLEEP OUT · 17 October 2015

We provide a global platform for the voices of street children to be heard so they receive the protection & opportunities all children are entitled to. Through sport, the arts & a global summit for children’s rights we challenge the negative perceptions & treatment of street children.

Story

Picture the scene, It's Saturday night and you are settling down with your nearest and dearest for a warm, cosy night infront of the box. Maybe your a "Strictly" fan, maybe X Factor's your thing or maybe your looking forward to watching that thing you sky plussed weeks ago. You can hear the popping cork of a nice bottle of red and then a knock on the front door... the takeaway has arrived! The aroma fills the room as does the anticipation of a hungry family as they frantically sort out plates and cutlery. Yum Yum! What a lovely evening!

Well, please spare a thought for yours truly who will be sleeping rough, open to the harshest UK elements on the floor of a freezing car park. Starting at 7pm on Saturday 17th October and ending 7am on Sunday 18th October.

Along with many others at Imperial Corporate Events, I will be raising money for an amazing children's charity called Street Child United.
This "Sleep Out" is in recognition of some of the terrible conditions that street children must endure each and every night.

We have recently entered into an ongoing charitable partnership with this fantastic organisation. You may have heard of them during the Football World Cups in South Africa and Brazil. They were behind the first ever Street Child World Cup in Cape Town and the second in Rio!
We are planning a string of fundraising events to include among others a Charity Boxing Evening, Cake Bakes, Car Boot Sales, Ladies Nights, Quiz Nights etc etc. In total we will hopefully raise over £60,000!

PLEASE GIVE WHAT YOU CAN - THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT
