Before visiting the RMHC hq and reading some of the stories. I didn't know what RMHC did for families with sick or terminally ill children in hospital. RMHC houses  offer free accommodation to parents close to the hospital. As a parent I cannot fathom how difficult having a child stay long term in hospital, especially if the child is moved to a specialist hospital far away from home. RMHC tries to relieve the financial strain, impact on other siblings and reduce the amount of stress from travelling to and from the hospital.
