Rabbie's Pentlands Walk for MND Scotland

Pentlands Walk for MND Scotland · 25 February 2022
Motor Neurone Disease, some of you may never have heard of it, some may have seen articles in the news about it, and some of you may know far too much about this disease. It is a truly awful and debilitating illness that affects the brain's neurones. It causes muscles wastage and affects the bodies ability to function on a day to day basis. The real cruelty though is that the sufferer is 100% aware of what is happening as their mental awareness is not affected at all.
So, this February Rabbies is taking on the 5 Peaks of the Pentlands to help raise awareness and funds for MND Scotland. Unfortunately, MND has affected two members of the team. Louise sadly lost her mum 16yrs ago to this awful disease. Then at the beginning of last year Craig's dad was diagnosed with it. We know that the path that Craig's family is on is going to be a difficult one, faced with many difficult challenges.
MND Scotland are an amazing charity that are on hand to help with some of the challenges that they and many others will face. However, they need the help of people like us to keep raising funds to help make a difference.
So, we are asking that you help us with our cause and challenge. The 5 Peaks of the Pentlands Challenge will not be an easy task, taking almost 8 hours to complete! All donations no matter how big or small are more than welcome, every little helps.
If, you are in the Pentlands on the 25th February then please
give us a cheer, a wave, a high five as we pass. We would love all the
encouragement that you can give!
