I will be taking on the Race Across Scotland again this year and challenging myself to achieve a Gold buckle. This time I am doing this to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK. A few weeks prior to taking on the same challenge in August 2023, my Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. My Dad had no signs or symptoms and was fortunate to have found out through a check up that he'd asked for from his GP. The scans and tests afterwards found that the cancer was significant enough that Dad has had the prostate removed. We're lucky, we've still got him. This isn't the case with far too many men but, we can help.
