Help Keep the Wild, Wild!
CCF UK is calling for its supporters to join forces and help raise enough funds to help save the cheetah from extinction.
Cheetahs were once found thriving in numbers of more than 100,000, across a range that stretched through Africa and Asia. Today, fewer than 7,500 cheetahs are left in the wild, under constant threat of habitat loss, human-wildlife conflict and the illegal wildlife trade. Without action, the species will disappear from the landscape for good - within our lifetime.
The race is on to save the cheetah and, with your help, it can be won. Sign up to Race for Cheetahs to help us secure a future for this iconic species. https://cheetah.org/uk/events/race-for-cheetahs-2022/
What is Race for Cheetahs?
Race for Cheetahs is an inclusive participation event that you can do in your own way and in your own time. Our goal is to achieve a collective 7,500 kms travelled, each km represents 1 cheetah remaining in the wild. We are raising funds to help protect cheetahs to remain in the wild.
Run, jog, walk, cycle, swim, hop, climb - it’s totally up to you! Take part on your own or as part of a team.
