Race to Sydney (Macquarie) · 25 June 2020

FoodCycle connects communities by bringing people together to share food and conversation. Week in, week out, thousands of volunteers across the country transform surplus food into healthy, delicious meals for anyone that needs them, no questions asked.

Story

Presented by EMEA Summer Interns 2020

In association with the Macquarie London Graduate Volunteer Network

Inspired by the amazing work of the GVN, this year’s summer interns have put together a fun and exciting challenge to raise funds for our charity partner – FoodCycle.

The challenge is simple. It is a race to Sydney.

Suggested minimum donation of 10 pounds

FoodCycle are a local charity with the goal of taking waste food and

using it to aid the hungry and lonely in our society. They have adapted to the current crisis fantastically, starting a food delivery service that has so far delivered over 3,300 food parcels and recovered over 14,500kg of surplus food waste.

Every donation has a real impact and this will of course be covered under the Macquarie Group Foundation’s standard donation matching.

May the best division win.
