We have decided to run the Amsterdam Half Marathon to raise money for SensationALL because it is one of very few centres in Aberdeen which provides play and sensory activities for children and young adults with multiple support needs.  SensationALL has been excellent for our gorgeous nephew Matthew, who,as some of you may know was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy shortly after he was born.  Cerebral Palsy is a motor condition that effects the connections between the brain and the rest of the body.  Those who suffer with cerebral palsy have difficulty with movement and muscle control and although it is not progressive, learning to deal with this disability is extremely challenging for all affected.

To show our appreciation to this charity we would like to raise money to help them, not only in their continued efforts to support Matthew, and others that visit the centre, but also to help them improve on the services they offer.

We started of with Luke in our team but he has had to pull out due to injury so its just the two of us left, and as we had both done very little running before deciding to take part in this... our main aim is to finish the race on our feet and not to be so slow that we get picked up by the sweeping van!
