St John has been an amazing part of my life, I have been in the organisation for 6 years and have had many great opportunities, experiences and achievements. I started off as a very shy young girl and have developed communication skills, confidence, life saving treatment skills and so much more. St John is part of my family and I want to continue to support them as they have me. Every penny counts and will help us to train other volunteers across the country to help save lives. The clinical expertise and the skill of St John Ambulance volunteers make St John unique. Each of the St John clinical volunteers undertakes basic first aid training, often followed up with other specialist modules. Last year, to assist the national fight against Covid, St John developed and delivered in record time a new Care training module, teaching skills for handling Covid situations during the crisis and coping with the new environment beyond. By taking on a Green fundraising activity for St John this summer I can help St John make sure the volunteers can continue to be trained to best standard. I'm hoping to raise £100 -It costs around £100 to train each St John volunteer who will go on to support or care for 12 people during their time of need. For every £7.60* you fundraise, you will change someones life. So by helping me raise £100 you are not only helping me but so many others!
