Story

UPDATE - Thanks to everyone who supported us and donated to this great charity!! It was really hard work and 40mph winds at the top but we made it in 2 hours 36 mins! It was a great experience!!

Gill and I talked years ago about completing the Autism Aware Annual Snowdon climb and like many things in life never got round to it.

This year we turn 30 and we're challenging ourselves to climb Snowdon and making the men come along for the journey. As many of you will know this will be an additional challenge for me as I suffers from rheumatoid arthritis, but a disability doesn't stop you from doing anything, it just changes the way you approach it.

As many of you know there is an amazing little man who has Autism, Harvey faces his own challenges every day! Autism Aware UK have done so much for their family supporting with day trips, parent training, schools, resources and so much more! Autism Aware UK is a amazing charity who have offered support to so many families from all over the UK in a bid to show people that autism is so much more than a label. Having autism or caring for a child with autism can feel like climbing a mountain.. therefore this year we take that mountain on!
