The Africa Children's Development Trust has a number of projects in Uganda. The Chrysalis Uganda Project empowers women through business, we support and develop children's education at Ndeeba Primary School, and do our bit in the fight against malaria, through the provision of mosquito nets.

Story

On Sunday 6th September 2015 at the Go Skydive Centre in Salisbury, I will skydive from 10,000ft free-falling for 30 seconds for the Chrysalis Uganda Project.

This project was launched in October 2014 as part of the work of island charity the Africa Childrens Development Trust set up in 2007 by islander Nikki Collinson. Its aim is to empower women living in abject poverty in the slums of Uganda to start their own businesses and begin the process of working their way out of poverty, transforming the life of themselves and their family.

Each women receives an interest free loan of £250. They do not want charity or cash hand outs, they have pride, they have dignity. What they need is someone to help them up onto the first rung of the ladder. To believe in them and to invest in them.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, any donation you can make will be hugely appreciated.
