Story
I am running the London Marathon to help raise money for St Raphael's hospice so that they can continue to provide exceptional end of life care and support to patients and their loved ones.
The Hospice needs over £6 million a year to run, relying heavily on public donations, legacies and fundraising. Thanks to the generosity of the public, they are able to make an enormous difference to the lives of 1,000 terminally-ill patients every year. The hospice is not state-funded, and only receives about 25% of the costs needed from the NHS. The remainder, more than £5 Million per year, needs to be raised.
Having known friends who have needed to use the services of St Raphael's Hospice over the last couple of years, this is a charity close to my heart. Please donate if you can.
