Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are a team of 31 people who are all connected to SWAN UK, as a SWAN themselves or as a parent, sibling, friend or family member of a child or young person with an undiagnosed genetic condition/syndrome without a name (SWAN).

Raising a child with an undiagnosed condition can be very isolating but through SWAN UK our families have found a support network.  April 26th is Undiagnosed Children's Day (UCD), this day is a day to celebrate our wonderful children and their siblings as well as raising awareness of undiagnosed conditions and the support that SWAN UK provides to our families.

This year we are marking UCD by taking part in the Inflatable 5k on Saturday 27th April at 9.30am in Newcastle.  This involves running the 5k course including 15 inflatable obstacles (a few are running 10k by doing 2 loops!).  I am sure we are going to have so much fun and hope to smash our target to help SWAN UK continue to do the fantastic work they do.

Thanks so much,

Team SWANUK :)
