I have signed up to complete the 'London Summer Walk' on Saturday 5th June 2021 in memory of my Nan Jean. I will be walking the half marathon route which is 13.1 miles. (I was originally was supposed to do the ‘London Winter Walk’ but it has been postponed due to lockdown)
I have chosen to raise money for the Pilgrims Hospice in Kent, who provided amazing care to my nan during the final stages of her life after a short battle with cancer. She passed away in March 2018, a few days short of her 73rd birthday.
Pilgrims helps people facing a terminal diagnosis, and their families, to live well in every moment.
