The Christie charity is one of the largest hospital charities in the UK which exists to raise funds for patients nationally to access leading treatments above what the NHS is able to offer. The Christie is a pioneer in clinical trials and the charity supports the development of cancer prevention, treatment, research and education. 

The impact of the work that The Christie does which can be found in their Impact Report and the fact that so sadly, cancer has affected, and continues to affect the lives of so many, are my main reasons for choosing to run for this charity. Any amount you are able to kindly donate will keep me motivated - with there being no doubt that I am an inexperienced runner (!), I have no target time, just the intention of getting over the line!
