My 20mile run with the Mumbai run community. Feet swollen from the heat and post run sore throat from The pollution. It's gonna be a hard one. Still some money to raise to meet my target

Fuelling my run training. 50p a meal. Sure beats ridiculous costs of uk sports drinks and far tastier

10x 1 mile pace work along Marine Drive, along with Sikh men in turbans and tennis shoes, sprinting saree clad women & more. 6.30am and the air was already thick of dust

Thanks to all those who have sponsored me so far . One day until I fly out and start my interval training by the gateway to India

My best friend, Holly may no longer be with us, but she continues to inspire my life. This one - the Mumbai marathon is for her.

Seems a shame to run all that way, through the cows and the crowds, and scoffing masala dosa marathon food and not raise money for Martlett's Hospice who do an incredible job of caring for so many, including family and friends.

You will be able to track my progress, including my training runs with female Gurkhas in the Himalayas (eek, I don't think my Downs training can live up to those hills) as well as my adventures on the streets of Mumbai at my new website

  • I've run so much my shoes are on their last legs. But they still have 26miles to run. This time in 7days I'll hopefully be on the finish line in Mumbai. Choking on the car fumes
  • Dawn training run with the gurkhas of kalimpong - 25kms of hills high in the Himalayas ...still got some wonga to raise
