Dear friends and family, 

I am supporting Marie Curie by throwing a Blooming Virtual Tea Party to celebrate my birthday (27 July) this year. Just let me know when would be convenient to have a cuppa or something stronger) together over zoom or if you fancy a social distanced drink instead and I will set it up!  COVID 19 has basically put a massive hold on fundraising activities to help Marie Curie to support those terminally ill patients.  It is such a shame that people are no longer able to stand outside feeling safe on the street collecting money for the charity and the Marie Curie shops have had to close which has resulted in the charity facing a massive loss of funds.  The NHS and terminally ill patients and their families rely on Marie Curie for vital care and comfort more than ever during this pandemic. Marie Curie had been a great comfort to my mum when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer 20 years ago, giving her dignity to the end which was a comfort to us and I will be forever grateful. Please help me support this wonderful charity get some urgently needed funds.
