Thirteen years ago I was diagnosed with Lupus, aged 14.

Nobody really knew what it was or what to do with it, especially in someone of my age. Lupus changed my world beyond all recognition, but had a ripple effect on my family too.

In the early days I was terrified and felt so alone. I convinced myself I'd never be able to live a normal life ever again. I don't want anyone feeling like I did.
