Rachel Bee is raising money for Tommy’s, the pregnancy and baby charity

Last year I ran the 5K Race for Life and amazed myself by completing the course in around 40minutes (uphill too!) so this year, having just got an offer of a place on a midwifery course for 2011, I feel that there's no stopping me (well, we'll see, but the point is, the thought is there!)
I've decided to run and raise for Tommy's this year as it's a charity that is close to my own heart and probably the heart of many, many mums and dads out there. Having lost two babies myself during pregnancy and knowing several wonderful parents who've lost their babies at term or even later I know the devastating effect it can have. Tommy's also do a lot of research into pre-natal conditions such as pre-eclampsia, premature labour, placental deficiencies etc.
I hope that what I raise will have a small impact into further research into all of this.
