The Rachel Bown Fund is raising money and awareness for Brain Tumour Support because Rachel is a survivor, and to bring hope and encouragement to others.

Story

In Oct/Nov 2017 I underwent 7 weeks of intense radiotherapy to my poorly brain at the BRI. I will be wearing my radiotherapy face mask as I run the Bath Half to raise awareness of what wonderful things the NHS does for us when the chips are really down. Throughout my 'brain tumour saga' I have been treated with respect & dignity by the NHS teams looking after me. This is my way of saying "thank you"

Update- The Bath Half was snowed off s I entered The New Forest Half two weeks later- I was snowed in & couldn't get there!! I'm still keen, so will be completing the Bristol Half on the 23rd Sept even if I have to walk through snow to get there & do it!!
