I am doing the Great North Run 2022 to raise funds for Colchester Phoenix Amateur Swimming Club.  Phoenix is more than just a swimming club, it's a charity that provides a hub for children and adults with disabilities and special needs where everyone is accepted and it's the only club in North Essex where kids with complex needs can learn to swim, train and participate in competitions.

Helping swimmers with disabilities can sometimes require specialist knowledge, skills and equipment as well as additional assistance in the pool.  Any money raised can be used to help sustain the funding required so that this very special charity can continue to offer great opportunities to swimmers with disabilities.
