I am raising money for Ashford Age UK, a charity of which my husband, Tim, is Chairman. The charity provides the Eldercare Day Centre and the 'Joe Fagg Pop-Inn' for the elderly residents of Ashford and the surrounding villages.

I have been visiting the Eldercare Centre for the past three years, on a Tuesday afternoon during the school holidays and have become very fond of the clients and the cheerful staff who run it.

The centre was founded by my late father-in-law, Joe Fagg, in 1947 and is now in need of refurbishment. I would like to give something back to a generation which has given so much to us.
