So many of you will know last year we lost a truly wonderful young gentleman....My Brother, My Hero.

UHNS looked after my brother giving him the best treatment and care, the staff were amazing and gave our family precious time with Stephen. The critical care unit at the hospital worked so hard to save my brother but sadly it wasn't meant to be.

My brother might not be here anymore but he has given our family so much. His strength and love for life has helped us through these sad times. We're throwing our energy into positive things

A short time ago Sara Hawkins asked me if I fancied doing the WOLF run, a 10km multi terrain, multi obstacle run. For someone who does zero exercise this was always going to be a challenge. A little voice popped into my head "you only live once, you'll be all rate" -my brother

First stop on my training plan was to buy some trainers!!!!!!!!

In a weeks time we will be completing our crazy run and i'm so nervous, I want to make my brother proud please help us to support UHNS critical care unit continue the amazing work they do for others
