Like so many other places around the world, the UK is in the grip of an unprecedented cost of living crisis. LSHTM students here in London must contend with typical rent rises of 30% since 2019, while the price of food has risen by 12% this year.

Story

I'm excited to participate in this challenge for the second time and am again reaching out to you for support!

I'm lacing up my running shoes on behalf of the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) to raise funds for the Student Financial Support Fund.

Gaining entry into Higher Education is tough but for some students, managing hardships and unexpected circumstances can make the difference between completing their education or not. Your contribution, no matter the size, will play a crucial role in shaping the future of public health leaders. Thank you for being a part of this journey. Whether you're cheering me on from the side-lines or making a donation, your support means the world.

Gratefully,
Rachel
