Enduroman Arch to Arc Challenge · 13 July 2016

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Since I first heard about the Enduroman Arch to Arc I have wanted to do it. It's a journey that will take me from Marble Arch in London to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, connecting two countries that I love. I've bitten off a lot - 140km on my feet, a non wetsuit Channel swim and 300km of cycling - but I love a challenge!

At the same time I was trying to get a slot to attempt Arch to Arc my dad suffered a stroke. Since then, while I have been training, he has been struggling to regain a normal life. The Stroke Association was there for him and my mum in the days following his return home from hospital, a time when it felt like their lives had been turned upside down.

I'd like to use my crazy adventure to raise some money for the Stroke Association. Any donation will mean a great deal to me and your support will help me get through the inevitable bad patches. Thank you!
