My longest childhood friend Shannon is losing her hair through cancer treatment. Although I can’t begin to understand what she’s going through, by shaving my own hair I am able to support her through one part of her journey.

In the process I am donating my hair to the princess trust. Where my hair can be used to make a wig for young people losing their hair. 

I can also try raise money for a charity. I have chosen the charity “ciss” because they offer support and counselling to people affected by cancer. Counselling is something I am very passionate about so it makes sense I pick a charity linking the two.
