In September 2021 I am going to climb Kilimanjaro and take part in a record attempt to complete the world's highest obstacle course race just below the summit at an altitude of 5746m/18,851ft! This will be a huge challenge for me and something way out of my comfort zone, requiring both physical and mental strength to reach the top.

I am using this opportunity to raise money for YoungMinds - a charity committed to improving the mental heath and emotional wellbeing of young people across the UK. When I feel like I cant take another step and that I want to give up (after just a few days walking!), I will think of the young people for whom this is an every day feeling. And that will motivate me to keep putting one foot in front of the other and reach that summit!
