Hey Everyone,

On the 22nd May I will be taking part in a charity zip slide. Which will be situated approximately 50m from the site of the Finnieston Crane.  The mobile crane used is 150ft high and the distance travelled is approximately 1000ft to a landing site across the River Clyde.

The money you are donating is going towards the The Beatson Pebble Appeal www.beatsonpebbleappeal.org. The Beatson Pebble Appeal is a campaign to raise funds to build a cancer research facility; the Beatson Translational Research Centre (the Beatson TRC).  This centre will convert basic cancer research into real improvements in treatments for patients. It will focus upon especially common tumours, those that cause the most deaths in Scotland such as endocrine (breast, prostate and ovarian); smoking related (lung, throat, oral) and gastrointestinal cancer.
