ING New York Marathon 2011 · 6 November 2011 ·

We help children living in low and middle income countries to overcome the impact of childhood poverty, to be safe from violence, and to exercise their right to education. We work with grassroots and community-led organisations in Ghana, Zimbabwe, Burkina Faso, Sri Lanka, India, Ecuador and Mexico.

Story

Since first working with youngsters traumatised by the Yugoslav wars in the 1990's, our responsibility to look after vulnerable and defenceless children affected by conflict, abuse, prejudice and poverty, has been a cause close to my heart. In November I will be running the New York marathon in support of International Children's Trust, a UK-based international NGO working tirelessly to improve the lives of severely disadvantaged and ‘at risk’ children, their families and their communities in low and middle income countries. ICT's work is focussed on enabling children to gain full access to their human rights and realise their social, political and economic potential as participants in their societies.
Please support this worthy cause by giving generously!
