The DMD Trust raises funds for research into cures for Duchenne & Becker Muscular Dystrophy. Duchenne is the UK's second most common inherited life-threatening disease.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In September 2017 my sister & her husband received the heart breaking news that they're little boy, Finley (my nephew) carried the genetic disorder DMD (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy).  Unfortunately this means that Finleys muscles are slowly weakening and he will eventually need a wheelchair to help him get around.

Furthermore, this horrible condition limits life expectancy and the average age for somebody suffering with DMD is 30.

The research into DMD is ongoing and my aim is to raise money to help progress this research and hopefully benefit Finley before it takes a hold of his body.

Finley is currently 3 years old and at the minute has a little time on his side.

Any donations that would help the research of DMD would go a long way to helping find a cure for this horrible condition.

Both me and Helen will be walking 10,000 steps per day through the month of July to help raise as much money as we can.

Please help me by donating anything you can
