In 2007 and I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and managing it well until Rose was 6 months old when everything changed. I quickly became very ill and was unable to care for her on my own as my health deteriorated. I finally admitted myself to hospital where I was to spend Rose's 1st birthday. I spent nearly month as an inpatient and undergoing many surgeries on and off for the rest of the year. Finally just over 3 years ago I had my large bowel removed which transformed my life. I am forever grateful for my amazing medical team both in watford and London. Crohns and colitis get no government funding so anything no matter how small you can donate could help someone like me 😃
