Welsh Refugee Council supports sanctuary seekers & refugees to build new futures in Wales through specialist advice, support and advocacy services. We are driven by human rights, equality, social justice and to make Wales a welcoming nation of sanctuary for those seeking our protection.

Story

I am taking 3 months out of work to walk from my home in Chester 870 miles around the Welsh coastline. If time (& legs!) allows, I hope to hike back up Offa's Dyke path to return home, sum to 1050 miles !

This journey is incomparable to the stress & uncertainty which refugees face, and so, I will use this adventure to support displaced individuals & families arriving in beautiful Wales.

Welsh Refugee Council helps asylum seekers & refugees to build new futures in Wales through specialist advice, support and advocacy services. We are driven by a passion for human rights, equality, social justice and to make Wales a welcoming nation of sanctuary for those seeking our protection.
