We are raising money for The Kitty Appeal for Fetal Medicine and Neonatal Units at Liverpool Women's Hospital in memory of our dear, dear son Zach. A team of us are running the Chester Marathon this coming October to raise as much as we can for this amazing hospital, without which Zach would never have even survived birth, let alone spend the amazing, precious 3 weeks we had with him. Zach had an extremely rare condition called CHAOS which led him to be born very poorly at 28 weeks, by a special EXIT procedure c-section, the first EXIT operation ever performed by the hospital. He was cared for, as were we, so wonderfully by all at the hospital and we are indebted to them for this.
