Story
I’m fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK!
This is something very close to my heart and has affected both friends and family very close to me and my absolutely amazing hubby.
This October, I’m taking part in their 'Walk 60 Miles in October' challenge to help fund the research and treatments needed to save lives and improve the quality of life for everyone affected by bowel cancer.
I strongly believe the current testing age should be lowered with more and more people receiving the devastating results they didn’t expect after taking these ‘voluntary’ tests are posted out. Bowel cancer does not always give you the symptoms you would expect many people have zero problems so would never know they had it!
More awareness and funds are very much needed.
I’ll be walking at anytime and anywhere throughout the month, Every pound I raise will help provide vital support and information to patients and their families, fund life-saving research, and support campaigns for early diagnosis and the best possible treatment and care for all. I’ll be helped along and kept company by our lovely dog Teddy I’m sure he will encourage the extra steps!!
Please support me by making any donation large or small today, even a £1 helps fund much needed research.
Thank you!
