Story
I am participating in the Hackney Half Marathon on the 26 September 2021 in memory of my Dad, who passed away in January 2020 after a sudden acute illness: pancreatitis.
I am raising money for Guts UK to fund further research into pancreatitis in the hope that one day there will be a cure. Guts UK gave me a lot of support throughout my Dad’s time in hospital, and the days following.
Guts UK are the only charity in the UK funding a research fellowship into Pancreatitis.
