I am treking Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of the Northern Ireland Childrens Hospice in September 2019.

My last expedition was in 2012 which was a month in Thailand treking and helping local communities and hill tribes. I wanted to challenge myself again to another expedition to help raise funds for such an amazing charity.

My fundraising for the charity began during my year competing in Miss Northern Ireland in 2017 where I came runner up and since that, after visiting the hospice l, meeting so many incredible people and learning much more about the work that they do and seeing what an amazing job all of the staff and volunteers do; As well as working with children on a daily basis as my career - I knew this was a charity I wanted to work with more ! 

I have fundraised for the hospice previously during my year by participating in the Belfast City Marathon, coffee mornings and walks, so I wanted to do something totally different and more adventurous!

I will be holding numerous fundraising events over the summer which I will put on my Facebook page as I plan them! 

I am also completing a 10km walk along Lagan Tow Path on Saturday 13th April for the hospice which will be my first step in beginning my fundraising target and efforts !
