Story
As many of you will know, I was diagnosed with breast cancer 6 years ago and after an operation and subsequent treatment, I thought I had beaten it.
However, in December 2020, I was diagnosed with sarcoma, a rare cancer that can affect people after certain treatments. After 4 operations through 2021, I was then told that I needed to have chemotherapy.
Having now been through 2 rounds of chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment, I am currently waiting for another scan to see what my options are. I am raising money for help towards the research and treatment of sarcoma as there still seems to be so little known about it.
1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Sarcoma UK’s ground breaking work. Donate to my Just Giving Page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
I am hosting a Cuppa & Cake event for Sarcoma UK on Saturday 8th July 2023 between 10am and 3pm at Brooklyn, Leake Road, Costock, Loughborough, LE12 6XA.
