On Friday 12th May 2022, I'm taking part in the Lakes 3000s Challenge to raise money for The Chronicle Sunshine Fund, supporting North East children living with disabilities, additional needs and terminal illness.

I will be climbing 4 of England's highest peaks in 12 gruelling hours, Scafell Pike (3210ft), Scafell (3209ft), Helvellyn (3120ft), Skiddaw (3050ft). This is an absolutely massive challenge for me as I have never hiked / trekked ANYWHERE in my life ever before!

I have been lucky to work in schools which support children with additional needs and have witnessed first hand many of the challenges parents face. I am passionate about raising money for this special charity as I know how positively money raising impacts families right here in the North East.
