I appreciate that this isn't the first time I've run the Great North Run (as last year I ran for Meningitis Research (purple top)) and asked for sponsorship but I really do think that this year will probably be the last.  I also understand that the credit crunch might be getting to us all but if you can spare any pennies at all they will be very gratefully received.
