Hello there! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year, I’ll be taking part in the 23-mile Glasgow Kilt walk alongside many of my colleagues within Arnold Clark as part of team Mental Rental. We’re all raising money for charities of our choice, and I’ll be raising money for Alzheimer Scotland - a charity whose aims and values are very close to my heart.

Both my gran and late grandpa have been affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia, and for many years my family and I watched how their conditions changed their lives, and dealt with changes in our lives too because of this. After all, Alzheimer’s and dementia don’t only affect the person with a diagnosis, but sadly their families, friends and carers as well.

Alzheimer Scotland believes no one should have to face dementia alone. As well as providing information and support to people living with dementia and their loved ones, they also fund critical dementia and Alzheimer’s research and campaign for the rights of people living with dementia. Truly a worthwhile cause.

So, let’s raise as much money as possible for Alzheimer Scotland! Any donation will be IMMENSELY appreciated, and eventually will be matched by Arnold Clark to double the total amount!

I won’t only be walking for my grandparents and family, but everyone and anyone affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia, and I can’t wait!
