In April 2023, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise money for Dementia Carers Count in honour of my stepdad's mum Rita. She is currently in a home and I have seen firsthand the incredible work the carers do - always so positive and friendly in what can be extremely tough circumstances. I have also seen family become carers which is truly inspiring.
