This is our fourth Etape Caledonia . We started in 2010 after we lost our brother in law David Edgar to colon cancer , the next year our mother Netta Ross died of lung cancer.

In the past 3 years we've raised over 60,000 pounds for Cancer charities and this year we will again raise money for the Alexandria Unit at Dumfries and Galloway Hospital.The Alexandria Unit provides hospice care for cancer patients and provides critical support for families.

Once again we will tackle the closed road course to the top of Schiehallion and we can only hope for better weather than last year. Our numbers have dwindled a bit but we still have the original Three Fat Sausages (Alistair , Bill and Tom) and 2nd time veteran Campbell Moffat .
