Story
In loving memory of Rae Cockburn, who died on 17 February 2013, aged 63.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Rae always believed that flowers belonged in the ground where they grew, and not in a vase. And so, rather than sending flowers we are asking that friends and family make a small donation to this most important charity. The field of brain tumour research receives under 1% of national cancer spending. Glioblastoma - which is what Rae was diagnosed with last summer after unexpectedly collapsing in the garden - is the most aggressive of the brain tumours and as yet there is no cure. We hope your donation will go some way to changing this.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
