Story
*update - Lewis had his surgery and all went well. Fingers crossed he can have his pot off soon so we can play cricket again!
Lewis’ older brother Hayden is going to do this challenge with me. Thanks you for anyone who has sponsored so far 🙏🏼*
I am Raees and I am 9 years old. I am going to run 5k everyday for 30 days in August to raise as much money as I can for Alder Hey.
My friend Lewis is 7 years old and was born with Apert syndrome. Alder Hey have looked after him and done lots of surgeries that he has needed so far.
Lewis and I both love cricket and play together at the same club. Lewis is having another surgery on Monday on his hand so he won’t be able to play cricket again properly for the rest of this season.
My favourite things about Lewis are that he loves cricket and plays with me all the time, he is funny and always happy.
Alder Hey will be doing the surgery for Lewis and looking after him so I want to raise money for them to say thank you for looking after my friend.
I would be grateful if you can donate something to support me.
Thank you
Raees
